生態設計中的景觀語言(節選二)

Issues: Ecological hegemony?

Some optimism views believe ecological paradigm would not become a threat towards parallel hermeneutics, for a multi-paradigmatic is essential over aesthetic domains. As Peter Hamilton (1997) mentioned, “Where aesthetic domains like painting, literature or photography differ from sciences is in their essentially multi-paradigmatic as opposes to uni-paradigmatic nature”.

However, it needs to be considered that ecological landscape design is neither Lyricism nor scientific system engineering alone. It refers a linguistic structure with two semiological systems, in which poetic and science interacted. Therefore, the uni-paradigmatic nature of science might reflect in the aesthetic domain of ecological design.
